FAQ

How is Pre-Auction Preservation different from a standard detail?
Will paint correction or restoration affect the originality of my vehicle?

Pre-Auction Preservation is focused specifically on how a vehicle presents for auction, collector marketplaces, or private sale. Attention is given to the exterior, interior, engine bay, and small presentation details that can influence a buyer’s first impression. The goal is not to make the vehicle appear artificially perfect, but to present its true condition as cleanly and professionally as possible while respecting its originality and character.

Preserving originality is a priority, especially with collector and original-paint vehicles. Paint enhancement or correction is only recommended after evaluating the condition of the finish and the goals for the vehicle. When appropriate, a conservative approach can improve clarity and presentation without unnecessarily removing paint. More extensive correction is never assumed to be the right choice simply for the sake of achieving a flawless finish.
