I’m Isis, founder of Icy Detail.

My passion for cars started long before detailing became a business. Before I had years of experience, before I built my own vehicle, and before I was confident driving a manual transmission, I was already showing up to car meets throughout Miami and Doral, surrounded by people who shared the same excitement for cars.

​

Those early experiences introduced me to the enthusiast community and shaped the respect I have today for the time, effort, and passion owners put into their vehicles.

​

That passion eventually became a career. For nearly a decade, I worked in the high-performance automotive industry at Machines Gone Wild, a performance shop specializing in builds and tuning for vehicles such as Subaru WRX/STIs, Mitsubishi Evolutions, Nissan Skylines, Toyota Supras, Aristos, and other specialty platforms.

Working alongside talented builders, technicians, and a passionate owner taught me that true quality comes from patience, precision, and attention to the smallest details.

​

Throughout my time there, I wore many hats, supporting daily operations, helping maintain high standards, and being part of projects where every component mattered. That experience shaped the way I approach my own work today.

​

Outside of the shop, I’m an enthusiast myself. I own a 2005 Subaru WRX STI that I’ve personally built over the years with the guidance of mentors and coworkers who helped me grow within the automotive world.

​

Building my own vehicle gave me a deeper understanding of what owners invest into their cars, not just financially, but emotionally. Every modification, every detail, and every decision represents time, passion, and personal pride.

​

That understanding is the foundation of Icy Detail.

​

I don’t see enthusiast vehicles as just transportation. Whether it’s a carefully maintained import, a weekend performance build, a classic, Porsche, or collector vehicle, every car has a story behind it.

​

My goal is to provide the same level of care and respect I would expect for my own STI, preserving its condition, enhancing its appearance, and giving owners confidence that their vehicle is being treated with the attention it deserves.

​

Beyond automotive, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, graduating Cum Laude. That experience strengthened the same qualities I bring into detailing every day: discipline, organization, problem-solving, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

​

At Icy Detail, every vehicle receives more than a service; it receives personal attention from someone who genuinely understands the passion, time, and effort behind it.
